Hello hello sweet The Brander readers!!
Im Kris from the Swedish band called «Kristoffer and the Harbour Heads».
I would like to give you one hour of what I´ve got in my headphones these days.
1: Bulls, Wolves, and Grizzly Bears. This is the first song we recorded for our new album. Kind of set the standard of the album.
2: Dinosaur Jr.: YEAH!! One of my oldtime favs. I love their new album. And this song is my favorite from it.
3:Dan Auerbach. What a talented guy. Im more into his solo albums than Black Keys. The album Keep it Hid is good on both loud and very loud volume. LOVE IT!
4:Calexico. Do I need to say more ?
5:The Killers. Amazing track from their new album. An album they said they wanted more in the U2 land. But I think it sounds a lot like Meatloaf. I like it a lot.
6: Joe Purdy: he´s been my house good on and off since I saw him last year at a small venue in L.A. Ok he sounds a lot like old storytellers with a guitar. But I still like to think that he's got something own going on as well.
7:The Walkmen. Hmm. this been my favorite band since many many years back. Pure and just AMAZING!
8:Artic Monkeys: Alex Turner might be one of my favorite storytellers in modern age.
And I like how they make music with the lovely UK melodies and harmonies in a combo pretty alarming overseas music. Great band.
9:Perfume Genius: Cant stand the full album. But this song is Perfect. More than like it
10:Buffalo Springfield: Had to play you one old song as well. this band and Neil Young in particular got a huge impact on my daily record listening hours.
What I like about this song that it been almost killed in the overproduction. but its something cheezy with their big moves that appeals me.
11:Grizzly Bear. top 5 album of the year without any doubts. and this is my favorite song from it. I like when a band sound like a "band" and themselfs.
12; Daniel GIlbert. Just got this single from my friend. I like it a lot. got a smell of 22 pistepirko in combo with friends of dean martinez. and 99% of daniel himself.
13:Cults: I like to end a playlist with a song that doesnt mean that much to me. but at the same time want me to pump up the volume.
Japp! See you guys!
