How is Grooveshark legal?

Grooveshark makes it our priority to support artists and control the existence of copyrighted material on our site. Once we are notified that content on Grooveshark is not in accordance with copyright standards, we expeditiously remove the item(s) from our service. If we find that a user's account has been repeatedly linked to the upload of copyrighted material, we will immediately and permanently deactivate the upload privileges of that user.
